How to Setup Seating Arrangements

It is a 2 step process to arrange seating plan for your registered guests.

Seating Groups

What is Seating Group?

Seating Group is to allow the splitting up of registered guests at your event place. Some examples to illustrate its purposes:

A. At Wedding Event, there will be a need to split up guests into tables. Seating groups represent the tables for the guests to be assigned to.

B. Your Training event may have to split up your guests into different rooms. Seating groups represent the rooms.

C. Your Seminar Event may have different seating category for your guests. Use Seating groups as the seating category.

Create Seating Group

  • Select the Event you have created
  • Enter the number of seating groups
  • Enter the group size
  • Important: The total number of seats created cannot exceed your plan guests limit.

Seating Plan

Under seating plan, you will find all of your seating groups listed for your selected event. After selecting the seating group, you will be able to edit the seating group name, group size and also select your registered guests to assign to seating group.

  • Select the Event you created
  • The details of your seating plan will be shown. The seating groups you created will be listed.
  • Select the Seating Group that you want to assign or remove registered guests
  • With the seating group selected, you can edit the seating group name to better identify the group. For eg, groom vip table
  • Group size also can be edited as long as the new size does not exceed guests limit
  • Assign or remove registered guests to seating group by checking the checkbox beside the guests names.
  • Submit to update the changes

Important

For Events that require payments by guests, Assigning seats for registered guests means that payment is confirmed by Event Hosts.

KryX Events do not manage payment collection for Event Hosts. Event Hosts must have their own payment gateway to allow collection of payments from guests. Insert the payment link to KryX Events under Events Payment Link and registered guests will be able to click on the link for payment.

Although the guests have registered, their payment may not be done or approved. Thus, their status will be waiting for approval. Once their payment is verified, Event Hosts can assign the seat for that Guest and the registration status will auto change to confirmed.

For Free Events, meaning Events without payment link, all registered guests status will be shown as confirmed.
